PSychotherapy
THERE IS GREAT POWER IN SPEAKING ABOUT YOUR STRUGGLES.
Psychotherapy helps with various mental health challenges and life situations, as well as with personal growth. It improves quality of life and increases self-awareness, through which we can discover our strengths and potentials.

It takes place through conversations with a psychotherapist, who, through guidance and joint exploration, helps you gain insight into different possibilities.
People choose psychotherapy for many different reasons. Anyone who decides to begin therapy voluntarily can take part in the process. The reasons are often a desire for personal growth, exploring one’s inner world, emotions and thoughts, reducing or alleviating certain symptoms or working through specific challenges and experiences.
PSYCHOTHERAPY

WHO
IS IT FOR?
These are just some of the challenges clients often face: anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, stress, burnout, fears and worries, depression, feelings of sadness, emptiness, coping with illness, grief and other losses, unresolved trauma, blocked creativity, struggles with self-image and self-confidence, difficulties at work, challenges in personal relationships, difficulties with managing and expressing anger, shyness, social anxiety, struggles in maintaining relationships, loneliness.

geStalt
psychotherapy
Gestalt therapy is process and phenomenology-oriented and takes a creative approach to human experience. It is a holistic method, which means that the individual is seen as an inseparable whole.
The way I work is by offering a safe space and a confidential relationship, where I welcome you exactly as you are, with all of your inner struggles. You encounter your past experiences and explore how you use and repeat them in the present moment – here and now.

initial
consultation
The first session (60 minutes) is dedicated to getting to know each other, exchanging basic information about the therapeutic process, understanding how therapy works and giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the start.
During the initial consultation, we focus on your challenges, wishes and needs, and we set the goals of the therapy together. You will also get a sense of my way of working and receive your first guidance and strategies for addressing your difficulties.
how does
psychotherapy work?
1. step: INITIAL CONSULTATION (60 MIN)
We clarify what you are currently dealing with and what you want to achieve.
✔️ You receive my professional insight and suggestions for possible solutions
✔️ Together, we consider which form of support would suit you best
2. step: CONTINUATION BASED ON YOUR NEEDS
- One-time consultation (if you need quick guidance for a specific situation)
- Short-term cycle of sessions (if you want intensive support with a particular challenge)
- Psychotherapy – long-term work (if you want to explore deeper patterns, face past experiences or gradually reduce anxiety and improve relationships)
3. step: PROGRESS AND ADAPTATION
Throughout the process, we track your progress, adapt the techniques to your needs and ensure that you gain maximum value from the therapeutic work.
Ending is a very important part of the psychotherapeutic relationship, which is why it is recommended to dedicate some time to it.
In the case of short-term therapy, we usually dedicate 1–2 sessions to the ending; in longer-term therapy, 3–5 sessions. This time is focused on bringing closure to the relationship, addressing anything that may remain unsaid, reflecting on the therapeutic process and your progress, exploring what still feels unfinished and identifying what you can carry forward and integrate into your everyday life.
In certain circumstances, we may agree to pause the therapeutic process and set an approximate date for continuation – in this case, the ending remains open. After completing therapy, there is also the possibility of returning if new challenges or life situations arise, or having occasional “check-in” sessions once to four times a year as a way to review your ongoing growth and functioning.
Process
tailored to you
A good psychotherapist adapts to your pace and creates a safe and empathetic environment. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to read so much information about therapy and to hear that some therapies last for years. If you feel confused or uncertain, I suggest starting with just an introductory session and then deciding later how you would like to continue.

Gestalt psychotherapy
my approach
I am a Gestalt psychotherapy trainee, and this is the foundation of my work. Gestalt therapy is process and phenomenology-oriented and takes a creative approach to human experience. It is a holistic method, which means that the individual is seen as an inseparable whole.
My way of working is to offer a safe space and a confidential relationship, where I accept you as you are, with all your inner struggles. You are invited to meet your past experiences and explore how you bring them into the present moment, here and now. This is why Gestalt emphasizes the therapist–client relationship, as such an experience also creates the opportunity to recognize and develop new behavioral patterns.
Reflective writing techniques
I also incorporate reflective and therapeutic writing techniques into my approach, for which I completed specialized training in England. Reflective writing has been scientifically supported for decades and is widely practiced abroad, as it offers depth while stimulating creativity and life energy.
It has numerous positive effects, such as reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, regulating the nervous system (by lowering stress and activation), improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness and enhancing self-esteem, positively impacting the immune system and sleep and allowing for the safe processing of traumatic experiences (in the presence of an experienced psychotherapist).

Frequently Asked Questions
1. WHEN TO START PSYCHOTHERAPY?
You can enter the therapeutic process with bigger or smaller psychological difficulties, or when you are at a crossroads of decision, personal growth or life change. No matter your situation, it is advisable to seek help as early as possible, rather than waiting until life becomes unbearable. If it already has, reach out to a psychotherapist just as you would seek help from a doctor if you were physically injured.
More and more young people are choosing psychotherapy. You can start therapy even in your teenage years. Very often, this provides strong support during a turbulent period full of challenges.
2. IS PSYCHOTHERAPY SUITABLE FOR TEENAGERS?
Yes, psychotherapy is very suitable for teenagers. It is always better to address difficulties and symptoms early, as this prevents them from worsening and usually makes the process easier and shorter since certain patterns have not lasted as long. Many teenagers at some point also need professional support (sometimes just for a few sessions) and psychoeducation to learn healthier ways of dealing with their emotions and challenges.
I am also specialized in working with teenagers and in my private practice I work with many of them.
3. HOW DOES THERAPY WORK WITH YOU?
Therapy sessions take place in a safe and confidential space, where we focus on your needs. As a Gestalt psychotherapist, I use a holistic approach, exploring your thoughts, emotions and bodily responses to help you better understand yourself and find concrete solutions.
4. HOW LONG DOES PSYCHOTHERAPY LAST?
The duration depends on the individual. Some people need just a few sessions to address a specific issue, while others commit to a longer process of personal growth. During the first session, we define your goals and agree on an approximate timeline.
5. IS PSYCHOTHERAPY ALSO FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT SERIOUS ISSUES?
Absolutely! Psychotherapy is not only for crisis situations. It is also a powerful support for personal growth, better self-understanding and improving relationships. Many people use it to navigate everyday challenges more effectively.
6. HOW OFTEN ARE THE SESSIONS?
Most commonly once a week, but we can adjust based on your needs and preferences. What matters most is finding a rhythm that supports your progress.
7. ARE THERAPY SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes, psychotherapy is completely confidential. Everything we discuss stays between us, except in rare cases where I am legally required to report (e.g., risk of harm to self or others or serious criminal acts).
8. WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT IN THERAPY?
That’s not a problem. Topics often emerge naturally during conversation. Together, we’ll explore your feelings, thoughts, and current challenges, even if you’re unsure at the beginning.
9. CAN I END THERAPY AT ANY TIME?
Yes. Therapy is your choice and you may end it whenever you wish. However, it is recommended to have a closing session where we summarize your process and say goodbye in a healthy way.
10. HOW DO I BOOK MY FIRST SESSION?
You can email me directly or fill out the contact form on my website. We’ll arrange a time that works for you. You can also access the contact form HERE.
